Yes we have the same issue here in AZ. The data centers use large amounts of water, which is a huge concern for those of us who live here in the desert. www.12news.com/article/tech...
More data centers are moving into Arizona. Who's going to pay for them?
According to the July report, electricity or ‘load’ demand from data centers rose by 1% annually between 2010 and 2023.

-And what happens when companies' investments fail? Where does the money go if the companies do well?
