For no reason at all, I feel like mentioning that I've drawn a webcomic involving corporate agents and aliens (thecenterworld.com).

It flashes back to him sitting in an office with papers on his desk and radio charts pinned to the wall behind him. One chart displays a spike in activity while the other is flat (panel 3). Shen: Multiple decades-old reports… objects in the sky displaying patterns uncharacteristic of anything natural. Any attempts to communicate were fruitless. And the moment we took our eyes off them, they were gone. Heather: OK. So you were interested in old U.F.O.’s. Shen brushes off the remark. Shen: Puh! I oversaw official government investigations, if you must know. Darzi: Agent, the klexans weren’t the first extraterrestrial beings we’ve encountered, just the first to speak our language. Darzi lifts his hand from the telescope and gestures to the sky above. Darzi: I have reasons to believe those same visitors attempted to follow us here, with our own technology. it was exciting! Of course, I permitted it.

I have a Crown Imperial in my yard, and it’s probably one of my favorites to see every spring because of how rapidly it wakes up.

Resources used: LibreQuake (weapon models, textures, environmental sounds), Sprawl 96 (enemies, sounds). Based on the Re:Mobilize mod for Quake.

It doesn't seem to stray too far from the usual formula, as seen in Quake or Doom, but it does offer new toys at the player's disposal, primarily for expanded exploration, story-telling, and puzzle-solving. When got a look at the demo, we were able to play around with the grappling hook, wire-meshes, and trampolines scattered around the level. There were some issues with getting used to the new movement set, but it could offer some interesting ways to navigate the large levels on offer.
