Never realising that Brussels is often considering massive, existential issues. Right now, they're looking to encourage agriculture in higher latitudes... and anticipate it being impossible in lower ones. Ireland's concerns look kind of trifling in that context.

The absolute best part of this will be when all the jobs are gone, all the construction and tech jobs, and the fucking data centres remain. I can't wait! Rolling blackouts for the slop gods!
