Update from Nathan regarding his fundraiser: Good afternoon. The car is now on the rack and being worked on. They told me the water pump and other components must be worked on, and this will be a big job for them. Thank you to those who have donated to help me get this car fixed. Apparently Charlie Kirk was asked a question about mass shootings moments before he was shot.
From the NYT liveblog: Rex Sakamoto Video posted on social media shows the moment Charlie Kirk was shot and the seconds leading to the incident. Kirk was being asked questions about mass shootings in America. "Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America in the last 10 years?" a person asks. "Counting or not counting gang violence?" Kirk responds right before he is shot.

Yesterday would have been my son Ian’s 28th birthday. He was born the day before Mother’s Day 1997. I’ve never celebrated a Mother’s Day without him. This is the first since his death at the end of February. I’m struggling today. I miss him so much.
