The fourth and final book in our launch list has landed. We’re thrilled to announce The Last Tiger—a breathtaking, wordless picture book by the talented Yunyi Dai.

We’re planning something big and looking for a #nonprofit to support. Any suggestions? Ideally a group that supports kids’ emotional wellbeing, creative confidence, or #neurodivergent youth who don’t always feel seen in traditional spaces.

Seeing more predatory “publishers” lately. Hiring pros to self-publish? Smart. Paying a company just to be “chosen”? That’s a scam with nice branding.
Publishing should be a partnership—not a pay-to-play hustle. #writersbeware #protectindieauthors

There’s been a lot of noise about what kinds of minds are acceptable. Just to be clear: we stand with #neurodivergentkids. We publish books for the beautifully wired. Their stories matter. Their voices matter. And we’re here for all of it.

Here’s a peek at some early sketches from Ayala. Her ability to capture movement and emotion? Unmatched. We can’t wait to share more from ‘The Way I Win.’ Follow along — we’re just getting started. #kidsbook #indiepublishing

Big news from Rebel Goose Books! We’ve teamed up with Vancouver illustrator Ayala Kaganovitch for our debut picture book, ‘The Way I Win: A JiuJitsu Story’ — about a boy who moves through the world differently, and learns that’s exactly what makes him strong. 💥🪿 #kidsbook #indiepublishing
