3) In the age of the internet, you can live wherever you want and still fight for trans rights (or human rights more broadly, or a lot of things) globally.

To my #transgender and #nonbinary siblings: I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this bigotry, this bullying, this nonsense. But remember:
1) There have always been and there will always be trans people. You are not alone, and I stand with you.

So Laoise Uí Aodha de Brún, please cease and desist from using my name to further your agenda of hate. I was extremely progressive and pro-trans back in the day, way before it was cool, so you'd better believe I'd be on the forefront of trans rights now.

My sister, Eva Gore Booth, was one of the editors of Urania, a newsletter whose *official* purpose was to "abolish the gender binary." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urania_...
Urania published info on some of the 1st transgender surgeries and of trans folks at the time.

First of all, have you seen what I wore? Do you know what I did? There's your first clue. I was a pioneer against gender roles - but more importantly, look at the work my sister Eva, who I described as "my second self," did.
