We expected to rebrand later on but thanks to our graphics team we were able to take immediate action. We hope the rebrand helps differentiate us from “Rebel News” from here on out.

Well unfortunately for us when creating this page and the idea for this we were unaware of the CA Rebel News. However a rebrand in the near future appears to be a must for us.

We appreciate your stance as well as others in this thread and we hear you all. We will put a name rebranding in our plans in the near future to help differentiate between us and the Canadian based “Rebel News”.

Our goal is to provide news based on facts not political agendas which is why we emphasized on “unbiased”. Although it may be challenging as an independent org that is starting out. We would like to be more of a neutral source of news similar to SAN or Ground News.

We would not be opposed to the idea. When we started this page we were unaware of the Canadian based “Rebel News” and can understand the distaste behind the name among Canadians. I can’t confirm an immediate rebrand as of right now but i can insure we already plan to do so when the time is right.

Agreed! However most news media is taking “fact” based opinions and disguising them as actual facts. Facts shouldn’t be bipartisan. They should just be whats true without a political opinion tied to it.

We just want to lean away from one sided journalism. The route that SAN, and Ground News are taking is a great example of what we want to achieve here at Rebel News. Our goal is to call out the purposeful misleading journalism and provide news based on the facts rather than political agendas.
