Really? There’s Roger Casement on a German sub. Up top center right and them dropping him off in the boat. Wheres the line exactly? Is there an expiry date on Irish ‘heroes’ doing a ‘collaboration’ with Germans?Is buying guns ‘collaborating’? If so our entire independence struggle is fraught with it

That's Allan Jones, according to Wikipedia, the enfant terrible of Melody Maker in the mid '70s. Memorable for his reply to Phil Lynott's comment about something being an insult "to my people" - Jones said "which people - the Irish or the darkies?" which still shocks 50 years later; Lynott hit him.

Irelands got a serious tax exempt/subsidy thing for films&tv production and post and all that. They probably only had to do one or two things here to avail of it. I see the Irish film board logo at the end of random things like the Mandalorian and Andor etc and they weren’t made here so ..
