It’ll hurt D numbers, but I’m not sure NC-1 will see much change. As an unreliable D, Davis was the lone “present” vote on the so-called Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, voted (+Slotkin) to ban Pride flags at the Pentagon, was 1 of 6 Ds who voted to end the shutdown and he takes AIPAC $.

I agree that really good people capable of understanding development and fundraising are necessary, but I spent 2+ decades in a nonprofit and saw a hiring epidemic of managers from the private sector. The salary gulf between these superfluous layers and actual workers is obscene and out of hand.
November 26, 2025 at 7:24 AM
So? Let them stay in the private sector. Plenty of civil service-types happy for the mission and work.

Yeah, bring back this legroom and accommodations and we’ll chat (but…don’t bring back the cigarettes, please).

I don’t wear heels…sensible shoes, thank you very much, and I’ve got some serious bunions. A mystery to me, too.

Pretty presumptuous to assume that I’m stuck sucking the teats of “corporate media.” Also incorrect.

But they don’t and refuse to do the work to be properly informed and educated.

Another one who needs smiting and banishment to the wilderness for 40 years or so.

Who is in the unfortunate position in the middle?
November 24, 2025 at 9:23 PM
All that to say, perhaps it’s best for actual ex-service member journalists to do pieces and interviews about military issues?

His family immigrated here under the post-WWII Displaced Persons Act, enacted a month after Blitzer’s 1948 birth. He somehow dodged Viet Nam, despite being of age in the height of the conflict. In the early ‘70s, he was a Reuters reporter in Tel Aviv and, in the mid-‘70s, worked for AIPAC.

Highest poll numbers in Russia maybe.

There’s a FB account with big mads against me. It’s an anon burner, but he changed his FB theme picture to my house and sent a mildly threatening DM. I’ve reported this harassment/bullying for the last two months to no avail. Now he’s got someone’s kid for his profile pic. Zuck/Meta enable this BS.

Thanks…but what did Leo say he’s going to do about the icestapo incursion into our town? Will he be joining us for tonight’s ICE OUT NOW rally? Will you?
November 19, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Yes. Our 21 year old is not happy with :us: (gesturing at every generation preceding his) and promises no kids. He’s generally over it all and doesn’t really see the purpose of pursuing his college career, other than it’s something to do.
November 19, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Indeed. I spent weeks last year canvassing. The paid operatives hung out in the office, when they bothered to show up, and sent old white women into the most depressed communities, where no one had visited since the last election. Folks had real concerns—and all we had were vague promises of hope.
November 19, 2025 at 5:15 PM
I certainly don’t disagree and never suggested otherwise.

Yes. I agree.

CBS News’ Jennifer Jacobs first reported #Trumpstein’s offensive outburst against Bloomberg’s Catherine Lucey.
November 18, 2025 at 11:08 PM
The reporter: Catherine Lucey. Not a “piggy.” Morbidly obese Trumpstein is once again projecting. But April Ryan’s response was chef’s kiss perfection: “Be careful how you call people names when you are in the pig pen yourself getting ready to go up for the slaughter.”

I’ll see your $5 and raise you $500. But l’ll need verified video and not any AI BS.
November 18, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Nope, that was “border czar” Tom Ho-man who pocketed the $50,000. Carr is brokering the bribe “settlements” for his butthurt boss. It’s easy to get all the grifting thugs mixed up.

Well, those men took a hell of a long time taking it down…but maybe it’s one of this huge-ass Camping World flags befitting a 100-foot flagpole so it takes a minute to let it get balled up on the ground.
