I think I prefer a system that doesn't have a charisma stat and social skills for this exact reason.

But I am sensitive to the argument that characters might know how to make something happen that the player isn't thinking of and may prefer to roll.

It's amazing that they obviously could have checked this before, but none of his lackeys even thought that maybe this would be the outcome and thus, never checked.

oh-my-god

very unexpected.
Also clearly it's an old sewer system.

wouldn't this premise be disproven simply by looking at sexually attractive traits in other cultures or eras?

Jeez. Average US grocery expenses PER PERSON is about 5k per year. But 4000 for an entire household is just way too much?

"it's unserious slop but well written! it -feels- like the real thing!"

The fact this person has articulated this but thinks this is a good thing is... quite impressive.

what ever happened to the full sized snicker bars?!

well, one thing is for sure: Streaming makes rewatching far less reliable. There's no telling whether that show you watched 2 years ago is still available.

hm. I find I still rewatch a lot of stuff. But I have a lot of moments where I want to avoid any type of 'challenge' when relaxing, and watching something I already know is a good way to tap into that.

honestly this feels like my typical experience. But especially during sports seasons... at least I'm -assuming- that's what this is indicating.

Dang. Beautiful book!

Might be a tad crunchy for what I am looking for at the moment but definitely one I want to keep an eye on. i'm curious about the trading systems.

There are plenty of examples of Kirk getting outclassed too, typically when invited to actual debates.

Great usecase! I was wondering how you had this interface with your podcast listener so thank you for laying it out.

I think the main part was politicians validating anti-mask behavior.

As far as I'm aware there is a history of Supreme Court rulings saying that while spending money is a form of free speech, it can not be used to infringe on other people's free speech. Supporting laws that would restrict political donations.

Overturning Citizens United might be enough.

We should advocate for industry wide unions, as opposed to facility-by-facility. both can exist but having a union for all cleaning crew, all teachers, all nurses,... That way there's no concerns of competitive disadvantage and no BS such as closing locations that unionized.

US is part of nato and you'd need a unanimous decision.

As someone who disabled javascript I can predict what'd happen. your apps and websites will mostly be nonfunctional. you'll click the login button and no username/pass prompt will pop up. you'll search for something and it just won't do anything. There won't be a 'non-AI' version of the function.

my assumption would be that you charge the people blocking access for violating the law. If not ICE as a whole, individual agents.
June 19, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Right, that's my thinking. What happens to law enforcement who violate ones constitutional rights and duties?

I just played this mission in Assassins Creed 3 ! you see, it was actually the templars firing the first shot! who knew.

I'd love to get an independent doctor try to determine how he got that head injury.
