4 years ago today I watched Sk8 the Infinity for the very first time and when I tell you it changed the trajectory of my life. Sometimes the greatest paths are carved by the simplest means.
One more six day week and then I finally get some time off to focus on art and projects again. I can't wait. I was sent home early Saturday because I'm just absolutely exhausted and have had a constant headache for days. Soon I can have work/life balance again. I miss drawing and gaming :(

Good evening everyone! I am really happy today (and really sleepy). I think it's good to document those little wins. Hope you're all doing good! I've been working six day weeks at the 'day job' (just a plain job now, right?) but soon I can cut back and I cannot wait to get back to art and writing!

I cannot even begin to imagine what it's like to not have this volcanic rumbling of obsession and fandom. I've been this way since I was a child, and now I'm decades older I'm absolutely the same way. Each fandom and obsession leads to another, and it becomes a constant, constant, wonderful noise.

It is so funny finding an artist who draws your current fandom/ship and when you scroll down their social media you can pinpoint exactly the moment each of their brainrots came to be. I just followed a great KPop Demon Hunters artist and two pages down it's all Jayvik haha. Brainrots are the best.

I'm the first to defend tech and social media, because the inspiration I've found and friendships I've made have been life changing in every way. But lord if this isn't a mood and the truth. Before the Internet I drew and drew and wrote and wrote and never chased anything more than my own dreams.
Increasingly convinced the main damage cell phones have done to creativity isn't decreased attention spans or what not but the elimination of productive boredom. Inspiration comes from the mind filling the void inside. Hard to make art when you're constantly silencing the silence with "content."
