I read they're pitching a new version with Peter Dinklage which would be fun. Hopefully someone buys it. That show really brought me joy though. Just the right amount of silly and fun plot twists.

Makes sense smh. Well in that case good riddance. Hope the rest of the cast and crew go on to greatness though. Lots of great writing and the ensemble was good. It also shot at my old high school so it was just cool to see the place.

Yep! Agreed! And Fonzi literally invented the phrase jumping the shark lol. Urkel jumped the shark when he either transformed one too many times, created a teleportation pad, or went to space.

Oh, and both shows have a family member from the original cast who goes upstairs and never returns.

Both characters have "powers" that get more outrageous and broad as the show goes on, too. Steve's inventions and intelligence end up being out of this world, and at a certain point Fonzi can snap and put the whole room in a trance or silence nature and its animals.
