Agreed. I know there are good people left at BLS who earnestly work to get the numbers right. I don’t trust the regime to release them if they aren’t favorable. I’ve been lied to enough to know better. Hoping for a brave soul to leak the real numbers.

This is eerily similar to the IDF tactic known as “mowing the grass.” IDF would squeeze Gaza and keep squeezing. Create the conditions for an uprising, and then the IDF had justification for killing Palestinians. Repeat the cycle. If you don’t get the violence you want, provoke it. Make your own.
