Purdy is very low on their list of concerns I do agree. I think even the 49ers know this is a year they take their lumps . With their defense - it’s a year away.

I didn’t say he’s not. But he’s absolutely a system QB. I don’t think if you dropped him on a lot of other teams he’d be nearly as productive. He looked totally different even last year when the playing field was leveled.

No, they have way too many rookies in important roles at defensive tackle and have a weak OL and too old. The WRs aren’t good enough. Purdy is absolutely a system QB. But their schedule is super easy. That’s their best hope.

I don’t understand the gap between seattle and the rams. I get the Darnold questions but feels like a lot of recency bias . Those teams were almost identical last year. And Seattle had way more impactful draft class. Feels like rams should be ahead but should be much closer.

I feel like it may take him a bit to adjust to the nfl. I think he’ll get there eventually - but I don’t see dominant traits in that group really. His acceleration was really cool though.
