I agree he is one of the greatest modern filmmakers, he knows how to write dialogue like no other, I love all of his work, the fact he “homages” is fine by me, but his comment sounds hypocritical, that’s all

I always seen Tarantino as that, he has a talent for dialogue and uses movies he loved to Frankenstein a movie around that dialogue.
