Telling people stuff is protected by the first amendment. They didn’t even need the word illegal in it, it would still be protected.

This is only anecdotal, but any time I’ve been involved in a rape or sexual abuse case… just realized how that sounds… and the sentence has been a travesty. The judge was usually a woman.
Of course psychologically women are more skeptical and less sympathetic to other women, so perhaps related.

Wouldn’t at this point the prudent thing be to just remove the hate symbol policy? If you’re not going to have a swastika on it, why even have such a policy.

The DOJ can’t overrule an act of Congress. If Congress passes an act to release them, any active investigation doesn’t matter. At that point only a judge can seal the release.
