every time i install a tire on this bike it makes me question my choices lol. if it's anything, I run tubes on all 3 of my other bikes.

Pretty much every time I've installed the tires. Once I did it in the front garden and it was so humiliating with everybody walking by on the sidewalk looking at me sitting with all of my goop, pumping my bike pump as aggressively as I could

To be abundantly clear too when I wrote this post it was because I was thinking ahead to how I would have to take care of this chore and just how much I was dreading how awful it would be bsky.app/profile/read...
My theory of bicycles is such that basically all the metal parts are Good and Right and all the plastic or rubber or otherwise nonmetallic parts are Evil and want you to Suffer

I think this might be my least favorite job. Every time I think about going to the shop and every time I find myself staring in quiet anger at my unseated tire in my kitchen, covered entirely in Goop that I will have to clean up.
