One of my fondest memories is hearing him play a solo recital in Cincinnati when I was in HS. I don’t know how my mom made it happen, but we drove down on a school night and I cried through the whole thing because I’d never heard anything so beautiful (cellist here, too).

It was a matinee and the new folks seemed to have come from church-they ones around us likely not in the choir... 😉 Always great to have new folks (rush tickets are 1/2 off for seniors on Sunday). MKE has excellent folks doing outreach and it's working.

I LOVE your description--exactly right! There were a lot of "newbies" in the audience (including several who decided it was a sing-along), but his good humor and enthusiasm allowed me to ignore that stuff. I've played it so many times, but this was really enjoyable.

That’s one of the reasons I go to Planet Fitness. When the bros do that crap, it triggers a siren and lights. And we all get to point and laugh. They only do it once. 🤣
