The rough mixes are great, but I have to admit that when I listen to them, I hear where I would have laid my parts and what I would have played. I have often thought about doing just that

They spent more time on that recording than anything we ever did, but schedules didn’t align for further tweaking/remixing, then Joe Con had health issues, Eric left the band, life happened, it just never got finished. .

Still mad that as soon as I left NYC, the band I had been in went into the studio with Richard Lloyd producing. Grrr. But yeah, he’s amazing and so is Matthew Sweet.

I saw John Sebastian open for Robin Williams in 1982. He was great. Also, cross-pollination of scenes was crazy back then.
