One thing to consider is that a lot of movie producers are petitioning Congress to throw a wrench in the deal.

If Netflix is faced with being blacklisted in terms of talent, it may force them to be more lenient on release windows, giving theaters more time.

I honestly don't know if they're going to go for that.

With the establishment of the "Justice Gang," I kind of have the feeling they're going to go for the "Justice League International" interpretation.

Less big names, less time for setup, and it's more affordable.

Thing of it is, Netflix does not like theaters. They see that as the "competition." And stuff like the DC films could be seen as giving their platform "legitimacy" after duds like "The Electric State."

I think they'll stay theatrical for now. But that may be a slim window of time.

Rather than being the thing that "kills theaters," this could very well be the thing that *kills Netflix* and it's dominance over streaming.

My big concern is that Netflix isn't really known for honoring agreements.

They could say "Sure, we'll release this theatrically" but then change it at the last minute so it's a two week release window before its streaming debut.

I mean, these rural areas are also increasingly an older population that requires more resources and are potentially sitting on a *lot* of money, so they probably kinda want a bunch of old people to *die* to scoop up their land and finances.

Megatron's "Gun Stand" is something that I'm surprised has *never* been seen in any outside medium.

You'd think that even IDW would have done something with it by now.

Sadly?

No. It wouldn't have been a hit in theaters.

People would have torn it apart. People would have stayed away.

Streaming saved it. Streaming made it a hit.

But not having KPDH 2 be in theaters? Yeah, that sucks.

We shouldn't make judgements on people based on their appearance, but sometimes context clues lead you down the right path.

"Grips"?

And most of these people don't.

Or have done anything of value or have any desire to do anything of value.

Yeah, take a loot at his hair with that in mind.

He doesn't have "corn rows."

He has short, wavy hair that is slicked back.

The brown is the *reflection of the light.*

It's people not even watching the show and only responding to short clips people post online *just* to complain.
December 5, 2025 at 12:41 AM
They don't care.

They need a narrative that the show is bad and everyone who worked on it hated it and hates the Duffer Brothers because they hate the show for superficial reasons but they need some sort of "authority" to make their hate "valid."
December 5, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Yes, and there was a video that came out that was about the cast's table read regarding the mid-season finale.

So of course it has led to people taken freeze frames out of context to spread the narrative that everyone in the cast hated it and being there.

Animation takes time and even something short like this was probably the most they could do given the time constraints.

The more opinions like this I see the more I realize making everything idiot proof unfortunately increased the reach and scope of idiot's voices.

I love seeing the mecha in dinosaur sentai and how they change from series to series to adapt with the evolving information regarding what we know about dinosaurs.
