I had a chem professor who randomly brought his (then 12 year) old daughter to the lab and required his students explain their bench work to her. His notion was that if they couldn’t explain it to her they didn’t understand it themselves. That threat regularly put noses in books. Very clever.

How are oven manufacturers ever going to collect marketing data? Are you sure all you want is a box you can heat up to a stable temperature and put stuff in to take out later? Maybe you would like it to post status updates to Twitter, maybe you want AI to recommend recipes. You could miss out!
