One of the artworks Saya mentions in her interview is Shōrin-zu byōbu (松林図 屏風), or Pine Trees Screen by Hasegawa Tōhaku (長谷川 等伯) painted in the 16th century.
The six panels depicts pine trees in the mist - they are said to be the first paintings of this size to depict only trees as subject matter.
