Of course. But equally it should not be assumed that all were in favor of this “deal.” That was my point.

Too bad @durbin.senate.gov doesn’t answer his phones or open up his voicemail. It’s almost like he doesn’t want to hear from his constituents. 🤨

Same with Durbin. Almost seems like they don’t want to hear from their constituents. 🤨

But Warner voted no. It’s because Warner is up for reelection in 2026 while Kaine not until 2030.

They all sold us out. That is my working assumption until they take action to remove leadership.

Agree. The No votes better take action.

Liars. Protecting the filibuster because eventually that’s what Republicans would have had to do to break the stalemate. Weaksauce - all of them.

My household is directly impacted. Agree with you wholeheartedly. To make the sacrifice for … nothing … is infuriating and insulting.

Don’t believe it unless you take action to oust Schumer. Otherwise, just looks like the caucus worked together to pick the least vulnerable Dems at the next election cycle to give you all cover. Enough with the empty rhetoric.

💯 He looked like he was being propped up at the No Kings rally. My household is *directly* impacted by the shutdown and I am furious at his vote. And the fact that as a constituent I can’t get through on any of his phone lines (per usual with him) is despicable.

Really bad take. Protections for the workers are redundant. The Dems made this about healthcare and have nothing to show for it. Political cowardice and they will pay a price at the polls.
