Julia Thrift @thetcpa.bsky.social, at the Lords Built Environment committee inquiry last week, said future New Towns must embed the Healthy Homes Principles not only to prevent ill-health but support health creation in new communities.

Interesting to hear impact investors like and want a well regulated and good quality #housing market to provide stable long-term returns. They do not see regulation as a blocker.

Useful review via #Arup examining how the housing sector can cut carbon emissions and wider environmental impacts within planetary limits. Housing is currently the second largest emitter of GHG emissions in UK, after transport.
