If you haven't, I highly encourage you to play the older Ace Combat games through emulation. Especially the PS2 golden trinity. The stories are such.....WWWWWWUUUUUUUUU!!! there are even mods released for the game including high rez texture mods.

There’s no day and night cycle in the game. No in-game days. It take 6-8 real time hours to get up and yeah no save point till the top.

I try to get to the top of the space elevator but my xbox(or is is just the game)like to crash and seen i can't manual save i lose so much progress (all I know that getting thier takes about 6-7 in game days with wow just wow)
