it is hard to fully compare but a single view on nebula makes more money than a single view on YouTube. Of course a view on YouTube helps a video do better in the algorithm so it is hard to extrapolate that value, but yeah Nebula views are helpful. Also having nebula sponsor videos helps a ton.

my smallest cope about the brewers getting swept by the dodgers is that had we somehow won, it would make the chances of there ever being a cap even worse as it’d be proof that “small market teams CAN win!”

it was pretty low on the list last year, so it isn't a huge shock that it slipped off. a thing that I feel like their team didn't take into consideration last year (and obviously this one too) is the percentage of outer wilds players who view it as their favorite game ever.

in the first post I did not specify that I meant YT studio, but I mean in YT studio. obviously under a video, comments should be prioritized by what folks thumb up and comment on, but when I'm trying to get a quick look at what people think, seeing the same comment from a day ago does me no good.

I assume that the amount of thumbs ups and responses a comment gets impacts this. although that is kind of only useful when a video first comes out as it seems like it still tries to stay sort of recent, meaning it is serving you stuff based on nothing really?

I guess it could help you take a little less psychic damage on those occasions where you open youtube studio and have the misfortune of one the three latest comments being the most heinous thing someone has ever said to you, but the better alternative would be to just not show comments there at all.
