I tried using a heavy coat of water-downed gloss varnish to give my Tyranids a damp, wet sheen, though I'm not sure how successful I was at it.

I used to get into it with someone who pushed the "free marketplace of ideas" concept of free speech. It finally stopped when I pointed out that, were I to agree it wasn't a silly concept, it'd never work as claimed since its loudest proponents could never allow it to or their jig would be up.

From what I've seen, she and Eva/ Ghost were supposed to have a bigger story arc with each other, but they cut it and... we'll, that's what we got.

I lucked out years ago when I found a dining room set (6x4 table extendable to 7 feet, 4 chairs, and a bench) at an estate sale for less than $600. The timing was good, too, since my housemate had moved out and I didn't really need someone who was constantly late on rent, so I also had a spare room.

In those moments, I find it best to just choose at random where to start. Usually, once you've started, you're no longer stuck on where to start that you're in a better headspace to plan it out properly.

My former employer sent me to Houston for a 3-day training course. The course ended early on the 3rd day, leaving me with over 6 hours before my flight home. In that short time, I came to hate Houston so much I preferred sitting at the airport for 6 hours over staying in that city another minute.
