and YES Welcome To Derry is not book based, it's set in the movie verse. i understand. but everytime i write my strongly it ch 2 based richie tozier there IS inspiration i take from the book. so maybe it's just me that has these strong feelings but i needed to speak on it before i exploded

the way that richie talked about his mom in the book, she just like totally didn't understand him. she loved him and all, but wasn't into his jokes and got pissed off that he was always breaking his glasses and ... like was it not stated in the book that she wouldve rather had a daughter
