I've been collecting pandemic era signs that nobody can be bothered to take down or remove. There's something grimly fascinating about this. Putting them up was urgent and important; removing them is nobody's job. How long will some of these hang around?

Now reading ‘Unquiet Guests’, a collection of short stories about haunted houses by some fairly famous writers, edited by Dan Coxon. The first story, by Grady Hendrix, is about a sentient, jealous, murderous house that, I suppose, haunts itself.

The above inspired by reading ‘The Penguin Book of Demons’ which I bought at the East Bristol Bookshop yesterday afternoon. A very cool shop with lots of chapbooks, zines and poetry, and a whole shelf of well chosen ‘weird’.
