I think all progress towards AGI and AI should be ended if the goal is to create a thinking being. Just the thought the of trauma that creating a being of thought equal or greater than our own would cause.

One of the worst side effects of the commodification of the internet has been the destruction of free pornography, especially in the furry space. We used to share a lot more stuff for free, but everything now is locked behind Patreon. I dont blame creators. I just miss the content as a poor person.

something I have kind of come to love about posting on bluesky semi-regularly is that it acts as a kind of public journal for me. I get a moment to write down my thoughts and feelings, but also share them with others. Unfortunately I fear that this is not quite as permanent as pen and paper can be.

I really wish I could live in the world I imagine. Sure, the people are living extremely simplistic lives without electricity and the internet, and sure they have horrors beyond comprehension, but at least they understand that living is a cooperative endeavor.
