The screengrab reads: In addition to the very short burst of song that opens each episode, Russo and Hawley have created a full-length “Strange Brew” cover that will be released on August 29th, which Phillips says is totally standalone. Phillips says that she wasn’t sure how the full cover would work: More specifically, she was wondering how they were going to make it sound Alien-y without making it sound as ’60s psychedelic as the original song. “Which is really not in the musical vernacular of the show,” Russo says. “Not even in the songs that we use, it doesn’t really appear.” For Phillips, the full cover was ultimately a successful effort. “I was very, very wary. Like, the lyrics work for the main title sequence. But then to take it to the full standalone song — how are you going to translate it?” she says. “And then Noah sent it to me like two days later. I was like, holy fuck, they figured it out.”

depression got me down bad but I'll try. Two creatures known as sha (set) beasts. An Ancient Egyptian Mythological creature said to represent the Egyptian God of Chaos, Sands and Storms; Setesh. One beast almost fully sketched in red lines in the foreground stands alert with perked boxed ears looking to it's left. It has a spikey short haired mane. Drew some big ole critters aka set beasts as practice because their droopy lil snoots are fun to draw and I need to nail down their designs for an upcoming group pic. Art by me. Need to work on the staring one a lil more but satisfied with the other two.

Once in a while I treat myself to a more thoughtful meal. Also it's my understanding that in other countries, milk is warm and able to last longer. My friend informed me of this when I showed them a picture of my last meal and my choice of milk with dinner. 🤔

After consulting with @ligerladymodels.bsky.social and buying the necessary things, I delved into painting the gold parts of each kit to color match. About three pieces need an additional coating so in about an hour or so they'll be brought back in for curing until Sunday. Tamiya Gold TS-21 used.
Several pieces from two model kits in a DIY paint box painted with Tamiya Gold TS-21 All but 4 parts from Fenrir kit mixed in with Konig parts for 2 day curing.

It was literally just a snowball of one bad thing after another...

Text that wouldn't fit into alt text: Not including sunburns, heat exhaustion, mental anguish, physical exhaustion, and EVERYONE BEING CLOSED ON SUNDAYS
so... my past few days were "fun" Saturday; the youngest pup got sick.. went to emergency vet, got meds, went home. day we were supposed to leave for our official beach vacation. Got the RV hooked up and everything.... we hear metal scraping. We forgot to lift the tongue jack. Stuck at storage place for an hour (offices were closed) finally someone showed up who was going to one of their storage units and I flagged them down. They helped us out as well as some movers putting their van back in storage and we got hte tongue jack bent upwards enough to where it wouldnt drag on the ground. Needed to go get air in our RV's tires so we had to go back to the house which is on a culdesace. The sick pupper diahread all over the back of the truck twice. We clean it up at home and we're finally on our way we just decide to keep the RV hitched to the truck because we cant remove it anyway and my sister sends an email tothe place we bought it at to get an appointment and drop it off on our way back so we can TRY to enjoy our beach vacation. Nope. We get to the resort, set up, and I feed the girls.. Kaela has to go outside again.. she diareas on the grass and I go to clena her up...bright red blood on her fur with liquid poo. I freak out. We pack up EVERYTHING an hour after we settled. Drive home, park the truck and RV infront of the house jump in moms tahoe take Kaela BACK to the emergency vet. Its like 10:30 -11 afer she's gotten blood work and xrays done and turns out the little shit was just going through the process of switching from puppy chow to adult food. APPARENTLY blood in dogs diahrea is absolutely normal especially when theres been a big dietery change. so we go back home after they give her some anti nausea meds and some meds that will help with her digestive track. I have an absolute meltdown because its been a very stressful day and go to sleep and today we went to take the RV in to get it fixed.
