Google Ads didn't have a category to report this under, but isn't it illegal to put someone's likeness (in this case actor Natalie Portman) in an advertisement or commercial product without their approval, which this AI slop clearly didn't receive?

Besides the fact that this Tilly Norwood thing is more AI slop being served to the public at the expense of people in the creative professions, I find it telling that they created a synthetic woman, because they want to treat this fake actor as a commodity. A fake male actor would get more backlash.

You're very welcome! History is wild. So many things are older that we think, while others are more recent. It's like that thing about how a samurai, a pirate, and an Old West gunslinger could technically all coexist! Or in our case, a knight at a joust could shoot his opponent.

but bows have significantly greater range than early handheld guns. I'd say that's the main reason they took a couple of centuries after their adoption in Europe to really see widespread use. But they were definitely on the battlefield in various forms by the late 14th Century.
