you *can* get CBT workbooks that you can do alone (and also like, CBT is version 1, there's also DBT and ACT that are newer apparently)

so a visual novel is menus, but a JRPG is parkour.

actually the more I think about it, maybe "affected by reflexes / affected by planning skills" would be a better split?

these are all good categories but I'm not sure which one would fit with the words now, LOL

I always thought of it as, parkour is a game where there's a lot of joy in non-"productive" input (i.e. running and jumping is great even if the only change to game state is "I was at that end of the room and now I'm at this end"), and menus is "the ONLY inputs available all have permanent impact"
