Current read is "The Hands of the Emperor" by Victoria Goddard. Slow, relaxing, idealistic fantasy on...good governance, I think, is the main thing. Fixing the bureaucracy! Fancy court costumes! Universal basic income! Very pleasant read.

I have never felt less like celebrating, but I have a book out today. Happy Birthday to 🌺FLOWER AND THORN🌺 my anti colonial medieval Indian fantasy that asks, what if we had magic? and changes the narrative of the past. It was both a joy and a struggle to write. I hope it finds its readers.
