I need to give Deadlocked a proper look one of these days. I loved the main three PS2 games as a kid but bounced off of Deadlocked pretty hard for whatever reason.

When I went to MAGFest for the first time I was physically and mentally wiped out after a single day, not to mention all the anxiety and stress I felt for what was essentially my first big solo vacation. Next time though I'm gonna make sure it goes better.

I wanted to like that game more and see where all the deeper puzzle stuff went, but I bounced off of the gameplay so hard that at some point I just stopped caring.

This started out as a Stupid Mario Brothers video in the wake of @socksbx.bsky.social 's stream re-awakening my long dormant obsession, but because I'm me it ended up being way more Star Trek than anything else.

Never managed to finish it. I should go back and give it another try one of these days.
