It was a tough session but BUT we finally unraveled my autism diagnosis and she changed my chart from 'suspected ' to 'history of' because she *believed me* that I was diagnosed at 6 (I just can't access my records). And it felt SO GOOD to be believed, for once.

I hate that they tell you it shouldn't hurt that bad. I cried through the second half, with the acupuncture needle that is 'not stimulating and just supposed to talk to the muscle' bullshit that felt like getting hit with a brick.
