The death of truth is the ultimate victory of evil. Exceeded my rate limits on Twitter so now I'm here. Sh*tposts and takes on politics, movies, culture, whatever.
Yeah exactly. People move to Miami basically assuming it’s all partying and beaches.

Yeah one environment I do not want to call home is the desert.

Vegas is just a place where people party all the time. That's the appeal.

My trick for survival is to intentionally make one holiday much smaller than the other. I have no idea how people do the biggest versions of them.

Yes well that’s private capital. Ego always bites you in the ass and a lot of the newer firms never experienced 2008 in all its glory.

Yeah this is why I’m big on the AI bubble. Investors aren’t gonna sell the farm indefinitely unless real returns roll in. Even private capital has people they answer to.

Google says the average monthly car payment is $750, but I would assume that's way skewed upward by leases and luxury, brands, so if you say two cars at $500/month plus averaging out gas and maintenance I'd say that's not terrible. Of course most families don't have two car payments.

Yeah idk what "Other" really entails, also seems quite high for healthcare, but I'm guessing he's assuming that you are going to the doctor/specialists fairly regularly. But this is a decent ballpark for "middle class."

Ha oh I'm sure I will but at least it will be more fun for me personally.

Yeah I found outside in-home the cheaper you got the less visibly nice/maintained everything was.

Yeah, I joke with my wife that our entire financial lives are a war against daycare costs until it ends and then we'll feel comparatively rich.
