Can someone explain one benefit of the Royal family? Tourism doesn’t count as the palaces and castles will be there long after that family has been removed and people will still visit.

This is beyond stupid. Yet another major infrastructure project that will go massively over budget, be delivered late, however some “dodgy” builders will pull in a fortune and our utilities wont become any cheaper or safer… what about renewables?
