Yes! I guess I also miss the bookish chat that used to take place on Twitter. Back then even editors got involved in convos about books and the industry. It was just a buzzy community space.

Sounds like a plan! And your Friday posts always bring me a lot of joy. I don't mean to say the politics isn't important. I don't want to 'escape' it. But I need more book talk. Especially when I'm all alone here, neck-deep in writing/PR.

100%. Whenever I’m talking with friends in other countries they are utterly stunned at how fortunate we are with our NHS!

Ahh the link to my first set of factual book recommendations at @booktrust.org.uk doesn’t work anymore but there were some great books in there! I’ve added the link for the second set of recs I put together though (a summer reading collection).
