One of the only posts of mine that ever took off was on this, The salvation army (even if it may help people in a community) at its core is inherently homophobic/transphobic & is actively supporting ice and other horrid groups

I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

Honestly, agreed. I was playing [new pokemon game] while just hanging out at a B&N cafe space. I wasn't wearing headphones, so some dude comes up, asks what I'm playing, and when I say the game, he's just like "I heard it was bad"...
