It was my first Thanksgiving as a host, and I wanted everything to be perfect. 🙄
What was funny about it was that it was just my (Depression era) mom in the kitchen with me. She picked the Turkey up so fast, tossed it back on the pan, & then gave me a stern “no one will know” look. God, I miss her.

It's also appealing to me that people of color in this country now have to carry proof of citizenship on them at all times because of this corrupted administration.

A good friend had an iPhone 10 until two months ago, and she always had better cell phone connectivity than me.
With her new iPhone, she has become a budding photographer, but still misses her old iPhone.

He looked confused, like my mom with dementia, when a certain expected routine was disrupted. He has a history of being in that room with people around him, so he remembers how to be, but the minute the guy fainted, he was in unfamiliar territory & was looking around for clues of what was going on.

The ‘cherch’ lost many good-standing members over the abuses & many Bishops move to very conservative M A G A type stances & political ideologies over abortion. Everyone who is still alive from the Irish Catholic side of my family stopped going in disgust with the US Catholic ‘cherch’ years ago.
