The cupcakes are out of the oven and cooling. These are chocolate chip pumpkin cupcakes from the fantastic cookbook Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. They'll get a cinnamon glaze once they cool. One of my favorite desserts of all time.

Today is clearly an octopus day.

We had a fantastic evening in NYC yesterday to celebrate our meet-iversary. Holiday market at Bryant Park; an amazing meal at Delice & Sarrasin; ending with drinks at Ty's Bar, where I left a message on the restroom chalkboard. Happy 21 years to my sweetest sweetie! 🥰

Tattoo Thursday! Here's the where my whole-thigh piece is at right now. Next session in January.
Front of my thigh with a partially completed tattoo. A grayscale hare is nestled in the leaves of a foxglove. The flower stalks of the the foxglove have been colored in green, pink, and purple. The leaves are still mostly outlines. On the inner thigh, the outlines of yarrow leaves and some mushrooms and a grayscale bee are visible. Today is the 21st anniversary of me and my husband meeting! He's not on BlueSky, but I wanted to post about it anyway. This is one of my favorite pictures of us, taken on Isla Mujeres, Mexico. It was short but lovely trip.

My husband and I are so freaking happy with the way the dining room and basement painting came out. The dining room is exactly how I pictured it. We're thrilled!

Whipped up some homemade pico de gallo with tomatoes and hot peppers from my garden. The pepper plants were gift and I don't know what they are but they are fiery. 😋🤤

Going to a pumpkin carving party, so I thought I'd wear my sugar skull T-shirt and jack-o'-lantern socks. I probably should put on pants too.
