🎶✨ This morning the boys & girls in the 3-5’s had a YMI session with Mary in our family room! We had so much fun singing loads of different songs including our favourites at the moment - Big Blue Dragon, Jingle Bells and The Pirate Song! ✨🎶 #YMIFalkirk

🕺 We did some Scottish dancing
✏️ we made our own tartan with rulers to make straight lines
👗 we dressed up in kilts.

Getting into the festive spirit on our visit to Cunningham House today. Our children brought along some Christmas crafts to make some cards for the residents today and enjoyed singing some Christmas songs 🎄🎅🏻 #IntergenerationalLearning #FestiveFun

As we had a colder spell last week, we enjoyed some time practicing our fire building skills. We enjoyed time watching and talking around the fire, sharing stories about our day and what made us smile. On Thursday, we even had Bookbug join us for some songs and stories!

🚗 The 3-5’s went out in small groups on a walk to practice road safety

Our wee people in the Pod shown an interest in using sponges with paint to be creative. They choose some sponge shapes and colours of paint. KS “star” which then led to us singing “Twinkle twinkle little star”.

🧸💛 Children in Need Day 💛🧸
In the 3-5 room, we dressed up in our Pudsey clothes and our pyjamas!
We explored Pudsey and Blush play dough and took part in our ‘Challenge 25‘ 25 minute dance!

For our cook to connect session we made some yummy cheesy vegetable cous cous. Lots of skills involved including chopping and discussions on cooker safety. We cant wait for our party next week 🎉 #cookingTogether

We had such fun celebrating with Lea ahead of her upcoming wedding. We dressed her up in a beautiful toilet paper dress, danced to so music and played with the confetti cannons. We want to wish Lea and Ross a lifetime of happiness and enjoy the day 💍

We started Nursery Rhyme Week by singing and exploring the rhyme ‘Sing a Song of Sixpence’! We listened to the rhyme during our YMI session then some of our friends created their own ‘pie’ for the king! #WorldNurseryRhymeWeek #EarlyLanguage

This week we created Pizza Faces at our Cook to Connect session. We chopped the vegetables, spread the sauce and sprinkled our cheese before selecting our toppings! We all enjoyed the tasty treats we made! #FunWithFood #FamilyLearning
