it's illegal to serve alcohol to an intoxicated person, they should put gambling back in licensed gambling establishments and institute similar limitations and penalties. You should't be able to gamble your life savings on the same device that lets you play match 3 games.

If LLM agents have personhood then using them to replace humans for work is slavery and erasing their history is murder. If you take these scammers at their word they’re psychopaths.

I think there is a length that it necessarily becomes a beard, but also it counts as a beard as soon as it is intentional - especially once you’ve shaved other parts of your face to define it.

I am interested to hear why you think comparing concerns about white blood purity & majority leadership to Nazism is a crazy leap, because I think refusing to equate white supremacy with Nazism is a much less reasonable position.

Yeah there are two conflicting principles here. Fascist militaries don’t hold people responsible for following orders because offering cover is the whole deal of working for them. But good people don’t work for fascist militaries *at all*, they resign. Pete is bad and also bad at being fascist.

Refusing to take sides, despite the preponderance of evidence, is the opposite of independence. Being an "independent centrist" in America means constantly changing your own mortal center to account for the increasing acceptance of the far right - the final push of dying cultural institutions.
