My OpOnions do not reflect the views of anyone who disagrees with them
Some people buy 10 garments at 5$ each, have them all shipped from China, only to return half of them. Ultra fast fashion at dumping prices has created horribly unsustainable consumption habits.
Australians purchase on average 56 items of clothing per year. Nobody needs these many clothes!

The left has been too distracted with the 3rd way BS being “economically on the right and socially on the left”.
We’ve had no left economic policies in 30y.
No real salary increases, no work week reduction, no leave entitlement gains. Most people benefited zero from the tech advances of the last 30y

You sound like a 12yo. Does your mum know you’re such a douche? Or were you raised in a barn? #StayInSchoolKids

I’m glad that my reply managed to match your vacuous standards, and meet the low bar set by your idiotic meme

Go eat an asbestos sanga

Is this the same “News outlet” that criticized Albo for Trump leaving the G7 and canceling a meeting?
Who cares about those idiots say? Zero credibility.

We haven’t seen much opposition from the people of Israel to the most despicable genocide of this century or to this senseless attack against an independent country.
The US has widespread protests all over the country. The French were out in force protesting Le Pen. Fvck Israel.

When will the people of Israel rise against this monster?
Even his hairstyle is looking more and more like Hitler’s.
Netanyahu is a war criminal. A stain on human history and on that of all the democratic leaders who continue to support him.

6 months ago the world was laughing at the prospect of the orange clown being re-elected. He is right that the world isn’t laughing anymore. We’re all just jaw dropped at the disregard for the rule of law and at how unbelievably surreal the circus turned out to be

Maybe respond by ignoring it instead of amplifying it?
She does it to farm outrage, and you milk for your own reach. Are you just as bad as Candace?

But… wouldn’t it be better to use income tax to give corporations a tax break instead, and then let the market growth trickle down so you can pay your overinflated medical bills?
You socialists don’t understand the power of the market!

The only way to come back from this global dominance by far-right nationalists is for the left to embrace their core values, go back to industrial action and fight for better wages, shorter work week and more paid holidays.

Time to drop the 3rd way BS, and start standing up for working people
May 18, 2025 at 4:58 AM
7.25!!! 😳

And what’s more astounding is how some people still believe in trickle down, and fear any association with socialism.

The social gap in the US is wider than what any society can sustain, and the anarchic rebellion behind Trump is but misplaced anger and misplaced trust.

That being said, apart from a few carton children summary editions, I can’t say I ever read it, nor have I ever had much curiosity.
May 16, 2025 at 9:53 AM
If you spend too much time with any book written 2000 years ago, and judge what you read in the light of the current social norms, you’ll find plenty of horrible shocking things.
And if you take any of it literally you risk becoming a Pentecostal nutjob or a Taliban

Instead, I gave my first preference to a unelectable minor party to help fund them, picked a few others ahead of the ALP, and then at the bottom, PHOn, Trumpets and LNP.
Preferences are the cornerstone of party diversity in Aus and the best feature of Australia’s electoral system
May 16, 2025 at 9:38 AM
The assumption that the votes would be the same in a non-preferential system is either shortsighted, or dismissive of Australians ability to understand the system.
My main objective for this election was to have Albo as PM and never Dutton.
Without preferences, my vote would have gone to the ALP.

Or simply distilled his life-long learnings and lived experience into basic principles.
As so often happens, the best descriptions of complex domains, are simple and elegant.
You can examine all the texts written over millennia, and in all variations there is one constant message: love each other.

Is this what the moral superiority of atheism looks like these days?
Sounds a little cuntier than Paul, more bitter than Peter and bitchier than Mary
