I've always been surprised by how many requests there are on Reddit asking for hyperspecific plot elements. As if they're looking for something tailor made for their current situation. My reaction nearly always a variant of the Disraeli approach, the only way you'll get that is to write it yourself

In E.M. Foner's EarthCent books, about planetary ambassadors on a space station run by an all-powerful (and interfering) AI, there is a 'committee committee' - a committee that exists solely to report on other committees. I proposed the idea to my director and barely made it out of her office alive.

Actually, one of the things I really like about the Tyler translation (not that I've finished reading it) are the little line drawings explaining objects mentioned in the text.
