The Art of Flora?????

Yeah, the extent to which the whole thing jumps is just bonkers. Had to get rid of yet another beautiful component because of that 😔

I definitely saw a private API being used to do just that over on X. But I guess it’s not possible without private APIs

That being said I liked to "talk to a web page" in Dia, but I too rarely find a use case for it still

I ain’t shipping some beautiful interactions because of all this jumping and clipping. Very sad :(

I'm pretty happy with how timeline looks now so I'm polishing the memory detail view. Sentiment is playing a crucial role here too – it sets the tone of the whole screen. Also the Liquid Glass here looks gorgeous

New day, new progress. Since many memories can overlap and timeline will grow vertically and there's only so much space on the screen I'm experimenting with showing max X lanes and let the user offset them by swiping. Trying this on device and I absolutely love it! #buildinpublic

Today I've added a "sentiment" property to the memories and an appropriate background to every card. It slowly animates making it look as if it's living and also I'm playing with blur, scale, and opacity to "focus" on the memory once it's tapped. Love it, but it's not refined yet

Today I implemented the search cause, well, you wanna find some memories of yours, and an empty state. For now it's just ContentUnavailableView that helps prototype fast, gonna change it to something more personal and polished later on. Quite like the toolbar transition, looks posh

GPT-5 helped me to lay the foundation of the layout here, I've refactored and optimized its code and fixed some bugs a lot afterwards. Could let it do the job but I do enjoy digging into the code, coming up with ways to improve and optimize etc

Next step is to get rid of the plain list and make an interactive timeline. Here's what I imagine it to be. UI will be changed a lot but the UX is likely to stay. Really love how it came out to be

Here I'm also leaking the name I came up with. So Memoire is memory in french and I find it sounding beautiful. But since the app will let you REread and REcall the memories, it's caled Remoire

Better late than never. I stopped aiming for #shipaton – was pretty demotivating. So I'm taking my pace and doing one step at a time.
Here's what the first iteration with very basic features looked like. Really nothing special, built in <1h. Gives me a solid starting point though

I can relate. It’s really good at generating tests, documentation, refactoring to more readable code, generating mocks. Also it’s the most tedious to do by hand. Me glad
