I've had issues trying to figure out nighttime or just darker lighting myself, but honestly, this looks really good! It gives a shadow but also looks like they're under or very close to the lamppost. Can't wait to see what you come up with after experimenting more. 🙂

Thank you for replying! It means alot 😊 It was never my strong suit with freehanding and never really got taught or helped in school. I know the current climate within art spaces that certain things are seen as cheats etc to some but I just really want to show off my girl lol

I just wonder if those things or using them in such a way is going to be noticeable or looked down on as like "oh he didn't put up a time-lapse must be bad" kinda thing. I just get a feeling sometimes that I should just stop trying if I can't do it without the assets to help.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not great at art. My lines are bad, my colors are ok, but my shading is shit, etc. I'm trying to learn and experiment. But I get held back by myself when her body's not right or the views off or whatever so I just DON'T do the piece...
