What do we do?
📍 Immigration advice & representation
⚖️ Take government to court
🎤 Centre lived experience in our advocacy
Another day, another worried parent contacting us about what Labour's cruel immigration rules mean for them.
If the govt want to strike fear & panic into parents & partners of British citizens, people who've lived here for decades, & people with serious health conditions, mission accomplished.

Our client, a parent to a young child, just reached out, clearly terrified about her status. This panic and fear is being felt across so many families right now. People’s anxiety and mental health are suffering at the hands of our Gov. This is not fair.

We received this from a single mother, panicking about Labour's cruel plans to increase settlement routes, ramp up deportations & make life more hostile & unpleasant for migrants in the UK.
This is the human cost of these oppressive and counter-productive policies.

New Labour policy is that if you've ever had to borrow money because this country is incredibly expensive or if you're sick and therefore don't work and pay tax, you can never secure permanent immigration status.
Just let that sink in.

This proposal will affect:
1️⃣ People with disabilities & long-term health issues
2️⃣ Parents of British children
3️⃣ Low-paid workers, such as carers
4️⃣ People who temporarily lose jobs & have paid tax for years
5️⃣ Trafficking victims
6️⃣ Torture survivors
It is unconscionable & disgusting.

🤬🤬🤬
The below is from the government's new asylum policy statement.
The language they use to demonise and dehumanise refugees is disgusting. Any MP supporting this needs to think long and hard about the sort of country they want the UK to be.
Say it loud, say it proud, refugees are welcome here.

🤔🤔🤔
While families live in crowded, mouldy hotel rooms, and are served inedible food, three big companies pocket millions of £££. It’s time to end the use of asylum hotels and invest in real homes, not corporate shareholders. #ProfitingfromPeople

These are the voices you never hear. People seeking safety are trapped in hotel rooms for months, often years. These lengthy stays are ruining people’s lives, whilst lining the pockets of others. #ProfitingfromPeople

In 2024, there were 463 complaints specifically about the meals provided in asylum hotels. Can you guess why?

Less than 24hrs after a damning Home Affairs report condemned military sites for asylum housing, Labour announces two more.

Wethersfield must close. Napier must close. Cameron and Crowborough must not open.

People seeking safety belong in communities, not camps.

Powerful words from our client who's been waiting a year+ for the govt to process his simple visa renewal application.
They responded to a formal complaint with bland jargon & didn't even try & justify the delay.
The govt's plan to put more people on the 10 year route will make things much worse

Anyone else noticed the interesting choice of hold music when ringing the Home Office. Even stranger that it’s ONLY this song on repeat - lyrics ‘Go back Go back’ 🥲

Yesterday the UK gov made a deeply discriminatory and politically motivated announcement about targeted visa restrictions. We’re calling it what it is, racism.

💰 £3,029. That’s what it costs to apply for permanent residency in the UK. The actual processing cost? Just £646.
We’re calling for a fee waiver for those who can’t afford it. Email your MP today and ask them to back it.

Media has the power to shape perceptions, but too often, migrant voices are missing from the narrative. Channel 4’s ‘Go Back to Where You Came From’ failed to amplify refugee perspectives, and instead continued the same ‘us versus them’ narrative we are constantly fed.

4/ Thank you to everyone who signed and shared our petition. We promise to keep pushing to ensure the government ends hotel accommodation for good and provides dignified housing for asylum seekers!!

1/ Yesterday, we delivered our petition to No. 10 Downing Street and Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, calling for an end to using hotels as asylum accommodation. With over 500 signatures, it’s clear: the system is failing families, and urgent change is needed. #ProtectAsylumSeekers

Labour has announced plans to close safe pathways to the UK for Afghans fleeing Taliban rule. The reason being to ‘ensure value for money for the taxpayer’.

Human lives must ALWAYS come before cost saving.
