Extra training is not enough. You don't need training to know that murder is wrong. You don't need training to know that shooting a priest in the face for exercising 1st Amendment rights is wrong. You don't need training to know that you shouldn't kidnap a 5 year old child and use him as bait.

We had a four year respite of relative sanity. That is about to end as we await the horrors to come. This photo of the US Flag at half-staff with a dreary Florida sky perfectly encapsulates my mood right now.

At Lake Lizzie Conservation Area in central Florida I can see scenes like these and yet at the same time (loudly) hear the noises of heavy traffic.
